George Clooney's job in the movie is Downsizing; he knows it well and does it well. He has been doing it for a while and has toughned-up.Traveling, up in the air, all through the year is part of his life. His impeccable routine takes a jolt with the arrival of vivacious Anna Kendrick.

Anna Kendrick is the one who steals the show here. In the film Anna is a young, confident downsizing employee. She uses technology to do the job which upsets Clooney's tried and tested method, and a record he is after.

Eventually, Clooney takes the newbie as his protégée at the insistence of the Boss and shows her the real world.

Kendrick is so attarctive in what she is doing! Read about her somewhere that she has a lot of Broadway experience.It shows here! Vera Farmiga is pretty impressive and gives the right tone to the movie. Actually it's her presence and chemistry with Clooney that make this movie better than other similar-plot film.

A well rounded up movie.The way it ends is worthy of appreciation; doesn't follow the norm.
